It’s challenging to run a newsletter, write articles or make art when the foundations of yourself are being renovated.
This is a process that’s being more safely guarded than other times that could, in hindsight, be chalked up as ‘noble attempts to get this shit sorted’. There’s value in doing what needs to be done without any audience, however small it may be. I’m in-between where I was (not enjoyable) and where I want to be (much more enjoyable). Taking some stock of that process, now that benefits are starting to materialise, feels noteworthy for the select audience who pay for the mysterious “access to good writing”.
